Course Provider Overview
This platform has been established to provide quality online summer courses for Irish primary school teachers which qualify teachers for EPV days. The courses have been designed to offer insight into topics which have, up to now, been inaccessible for teachers online. They meet the demands of Teachers, Home School Community Liaison Coordinators, Principals and Assistant Principals facing the unique challenges in education that are present in disadvantaged schools.

About the Tutor-
Jason is a Home School Community Liaison Coordinator (HSCL) with Tusla Education Support Services (TESS). He also works as a Wellbeing and PE Associate with the PDST Primary Health & Wellbeing Team. He is an experienced Primary Teacher holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership from NUI Maynooth.
The HSCL role is a key part of delivering DEIS supports on the ground in disadvantaged schools and communities. HSCL Coordinators work in schools to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged families. They also work closely in partnership with other professionals involved in the DEIS School Support Programme such as Education Welfare Officers (EWO), School Completion Programme Coordinators (SCP) and fellow HSCL's in other schools, as well as Principals, Teachers and Parents.
